Monro Muffler declares quarterly cash dividend

Monro Muffler Brake Inc. has declared a quarterly cash dividend of 13 cents a share.

The dividend is payable on Aug. 28 to shareholders of record on Aug. 18. The cash dividend is unchanged from Monro’s first-quarter dividend of 13 cents a share.

In July, Monro reported record sales and net income in the first quarter, as well as a planned acquisition outside its existing footprint.

Shares of company stock (Nasdaq: MNRO) were up 65 cents to $52.16 in midday trading.
