Rochester Business Journal
August 13, 2014

Eastman Kodak Co. said it has received $43 million as part of a settlement inked with Ricoh Co. Ltd. and Ricoh Americas Corp.

The companies on Aug. 8 entered into the agreement to settle an array of cases in federal court, a Kodak filing on Wednesday with the Securities and Exchange Commission states.

In addition to the onetime cash payment, the settlement agreement includes dismissal of the claims, with prejudice; and releases with respect to assertions made in the claims and any assertions of patent infringement stemming from activities that occurred prior to Thursday.
