Chesonis to speak at UVANY forum in Syracuse

Sweetwater Energy Inc. Chairman and CEO Arunas Chesonis will be featured at an Upstate Venture Association of New York forum in Syracuse.

The Sept. 9 event begins with registration at 5 p.m. at the Dinosaur Bar-B-Que at 246 W. Willow St. The discussion with Chesonis is slated for 6:10 p.m.

Chesonis is expected to discuss his founding of PaeTec Communications Inc. in 1998 and events leading to the sale of Paetec Holding Corp. to Windstream Corp. in 2011.

Somak Chattopadhyay, managing partner at Armory Square Ventures L.P., will moderate the discussion.
