Rochester Business Journal
August 27, 2014

IEC Electronics Corp said Wednesday it has received notification from a customer to start procuring materials in anticipation of at least $20 million in orders.

The Newark, Wayne County firm said the request came from an existing medical client. The customer has completed product testing after resolution of its U.S. Food and Drug Administration issues, IEC added.

The orders are expected to ship over the course of IEC’s fiscal 2015, which ends Sept. 30, 2015.

IEC ranked 14th on the most recent Rochester Business Journal list of manufacturers, with 712 local workers.
