This year’s Wealth of Health Awards were handed out Tuesday at a luncheon attended by nearly 300 people at the Hyatt Regency Rochester.

The awards, now in their 10th year, are presented by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield, Rochester Region, and the Rochester Business Journal. Finalists were judged on employee involvement in health initiatives, the creativity of these activities to reach specific targets, sustainability of programs and measurable outcomes.

Twenty-one companies and organizations were recognized, with winners named in five categories based on number of employees. Three employers received special recognition for creativity, fun and innovation in health and wellness programming.

Here are the 2015 winners and finalists:

1-99 employees—Winner: Relph Benefit Advisors; finalists: Butler/Till Media & Communications, Inspire Yoga LLC and Kafl Inc.

100-699 employees—Winner: ESL Federal Credit Union; finalists: American Packaging Corp., Canandaigua National Bank & Trust and Lawley Benefits Group LLC.

700-2,999 employees—Winner: MVP Health Care; finalists: County of Ontario, Regional Transit Service and Terphane Inc./Tredegar Corp.

3,000-9,999 employees—Winner: Rochester Institute of Technology; finalists: CooperVision Inc., Ortho Clinical Diagnostics Inc. and Rochester City School District.

10,000+ employees—Winner: University of Rochester; finalists: Stantec Inc., Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and Verizon Wireless Inc.

Special recognition for creativity, fun and innovation—Creativity: Jewish Senior Life; Fun: Verizon Wireless Inc.; and Innovation: Terphane Inc./Tredegar Corp.
