An event recognizing the 2015 Greater Rochester Awards recipients drew nearly 400 people to the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center on Oct. 27. Fourteen individuals and six organizations were honored for their contributions to the area’s non-profits. The event is presented by the Rochester Business Journal and the United Way of Greater Rochester Inc. and sponsored by Bank of America Corp. The bank presented a $10,000 check to Willow Domestic Violence Center, winner of the Bank of America Impact Award. Finalists in that category were the summer social skills program of AutismUp and Foodlink’s curbside market program.
