Honorees picked for achievement in health care

Twenty-three honorees—21 individuals and two organizations—have been selected as recipients of the Rochester Business Journal’s 2016 Health Care Achievement Awards. This year’s group is the 14th to receive the awards.

The Health Care Achievement Awards are to be presented March 22 during a luncheon at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center. The event recognizes individuals and groups whose contributions to health care have been deemed outstanding by their colleagues, patients and supervisors.

Award nominations were made by community members, who supplied biographies, testimonials and other supporting information. Individuals and groups were eligible for consideration in eight categories: behavioral health, health care staff, innovation, management, nurse, physician, senior care and volunteer.

The honorees for 2016 are:
