CEO, Xerox Corp.
Burns joined Xerox in 1980 as a mechanical engineering summer intern and later assumed roles in product development and planning.
From 1992 through 2000, Burns led several business teams, including the office color and fax business and office network printing business. In 2000, she was named senior vice president, corporate strategic services, heading up manufacturing and supply chain operations. She then took on the broader role of leading Xerox's global research as well as product development, marketing and delivery.
In April 2007, Burns was named president of Xerox, expanding her leadership to include the company's IT organization, corporate strategy, human resources, corporate marketing and global accounts. At that time, she was elected a member of the company's board of directors. Burns became chief executive officer in July 2009 and assumed the role of chairman of the company on May 20.
Burns earned a B.S. in mechanical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University and an M.S. in mechanical engineering from Columbia University.
Chairman and CEO, Paetec Holding Corp.
Chesonis founded Paetec in May 1998. He began his career at Rochester Telephone Corp., now part of Frontier Communications Co., and went on to become president of ACC Corp. and led the company until it was purchased by TCG/ATT in 1998.
Chesonis is an inductee of the Rochester Business Hall of Fame. He holds a B.S. in civil engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MBA from the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester and an honorary doctorate of laws from the University of Rochester. He is co-director of the MIT Sustainable Energy Revolution Program and serves as trustee of the Harley School, Rochester Institute of Technology and the University of Rochester.
Chairman and CEO, Gannett Co. Inc.
Dubow became Gannett's chairman in July 2006, one year after he had been named president and CEO. He also became a member of the board of directors at that time.
Dubow joined Gannett in 1981 in advertising sales for KUSA-TV in Denver. He held various positions at KVUE-TV in Austin, Texas, and he was named president and general manager in 1990. In 1992, he became president and general manager of Gannett's NBC affiliate in Atlanta, WXIA-TV. Dubow was executive vice president of Gannett Television from 1996 to 2000. He was named president of Gannett Broadcasting in 2000, adding CEO to his title in 2001.

Philip Falcone has been a director, chairman of the board, president and CEO of Harbinger Group since July 2009. He is chief investment officer and CEO of Harbinger Capital Partners LLC, an affiliate of HGI, and is chairman of the board, president and CEO of HGI's subsidiary, zap.com.
President and CEO, Fairport Savings Bank
Gavenda was elected president and CEO of Fairport Savings Bank in 2001.
He began his career at Rochester Community Savings Bank in 1973 as a management trainee and later was named vice president for retail sales and service for Central Trust Co. In 1986, Gavenda joined First Federal Savings as corporate vice president and region manager, taking responsibility for a 37-branch network in Upstate New York. Immediately prior to joining Fairport Savings Bank, Gavenda managed retail operations for Wyoming County Bank as vice president and branch administrator.
A native of Albion, Gavenda earned his B.S. degree at SUNY College at Brockport and holds an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
Chairman and CEO, IEC Electronics Corp.
Gilbert has been a director of IEC Electronics since 1993 and board chairman since February 2001. He is an adjunct faculty member at the Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester.
Gilbert previously held the position of president of the thermal management group of Bowthorpe PLC and was corporate vice president and president of the analytical products division of Milton Roy Co., a manufacturer of analytical instrumentation.
Gilbert has served on the advisory boards for a number of local small companies and on fundraising committees for several charitable organizations.
He has an MBA from the Simon School and a B.S. in accounting from Ohio State University.
President and interim chief financial officer, Torvec Inc.
Gleasman is co-inventor with Vernon Gleasman on all Torvec patents. In addition to his design and development knowledge, Gleasman has extensive marketing and sales experience. He became president and chief technology officer on March 14.
Chairman and CEO, Monro Muffler Brake Inc.
Gross became president and CEO of Monro Muffler Brake in 1999 and was appointed chairman and CEO in 2007. Before that, he was president and CEO of Tops Appliance City Inc., a position he took in 1995.
From 1990 to 1994, he held numerous senior management positions with Eye Care Centers of America Inc., including president and chief operating officer. From 1987 to 1990, he was an independent consultant. From 1984 to 1987, Gross was a manager of pension investments at American Can Co., and from 1981 to 1984, he worked for Ernst & Young LLP. Gross earned a B.S., and later an MBA in accounting, from SUNY Buffalo.
President and CEO, Transcat Inc.
Hadeed became president and CEO of Transcat in May 2007. Since joining Transcat in 2002, Hadeed also held the positions of chief operating officer, vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
Prior to joining Transcat in April 2002, he was vice president of the health care ventures group with Henry Schein Inc. Before that, he served as group vice president of operations at Del Laboratories Inc. Hadeed served in various executive positions during his 20-year career at Bausch & Lomb Inc. including vice president of global lens care operations.
Hadeed serves on the boards of directors of Rochester Rehabilitation Center Inc., Rehabilitation Enterprises Inc. and DePaul Community Services. He has a B.S. in accounting from Syracuse University and is a certified public accountant.
President and CEO, Financial Institutions Inc.
Humphrey has been with Financial Institutions since 1986 and has been president and CEO since 1994. He also is president and CEO of Five Star Bank and is a director of Five Star Bank, Financial Institutions Inc. and Five Star Investment Services Inc., a brokerage subsidiary of FII.
Humphrey began his banking career in 1977 at Marine Midland Bank. He was president and CEO of Wyoming County Bank from 1986 to 1996. A native of Warsaw, Wyoming County, Humphrey holds a bachelor's degree from Trinity College and a graduate degree from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University.
He is a director of the New York State Banking Department board and the New York Bankers Association. Humphrey also is chairman of the New York Bankers Retirement System and of the New York State Parks - Genesee Regional Commission. He also served on the New York State Board of Historic Preservation.
President and CEO, Paychex Inc.
Judge joined Paychex in October 2004, succeeding the company's founder, Thomas Golisano, who started Paychex in 1971.
Prior to joining Paychex, Judge was president and CEO of Crystal Decisions Inc. Before that, he worked at IBM Corp. for 25 years. His career there culminated in 2002 with his role as general manager of IBM's Personal Computing Division.
Judge holds a B.A. degree in economics from Harvard University.
President and CEO, Ultralife Corp.
Kavazanjian was elected president and CEO of Ultralife in July 1999 and became a director the next month. Prior to joining the company, Kavazanjian worked for Xerox Corp. since 1994 in several capacities, most recently as corporate vice president and chief technology officer for the Document Services Group. From 1992 until 1994 he was the senior vice president of operations for Kendall Square Research Corp.
Kavazanjian serves on the board of directors of Newark-Wayne Community Hospital.
President and CEO, Seneca Foods Corp.
Kayser has been president and CEO of Seneca Foods since 1993. For two years prior, he was vice president and chief financial officer. Before that, he was an assistant vice president and then vice president at JPMorgan Investment Management Inc. in New York City.
He is a director and chairman of the audit committee of Moog Inc., a trustee of Rochester Institute of Technology and a member of the advisory council of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Cornell University.
Kayser earned a B.A. in economics from Hamilton College and an MBA in finance from Cornell University.
CEO, Biophan Technologies Inc.
Lanzafame became Biophan Technologies' interim CEO in October 2007. He joined the company in 2004 as chief operating officer and vice president of business development.
Lanzafame has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry. Until early 2004, he worked for STS Biopolymers Inc. in research, product development and sales and marketing. He was president when the company was sold to Angiotech Pharmaceuticals in 2003. Since 2009, Lanzafame has been president of MyoCardioCare LLC, a medical device company.
President and CEO, Graham Corp.
Lines became president and chief operating officer of Graham in 2006 and was promoted to president and CEO in 2008. He has been with the company since 1984.
Lines previously held the positions of vice president and general manager, vice president of engineering and vice president of sales and marketing. Before his senior management jobs, he was an application engineer, sales engineer and product supervisor.
Lines holds a B.S. in aerospace engineering from SUNY Buffalo.
President and CEO, VirtualScopics Inc.
Markin was appointed president and CEO of VirtualScopics in 2006. He joined the company as chief operating officer in May 2006, after 26 years at Eastman Kodak Co. Most recently, Markin had been general manager of output systems and mammography solutions for Kodak's Health Group and a corporate officer of the company.
Previously, he held leadership positions in the document imaging business, including vice president of marketing for the U.S. and Canada, global general manager of the output business and general manager of the Asia-based services business.
He holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from SUNY Buffalo and an MBA from the Simon Graduate School of Business.
President and CEO, Veramark Technolgies Inc.
Mazzullo became president and CEO of Veramark in 2008. Previously, he had been senior vice president of operations at a publicly held software and professional services company.
In 1999, Mazzullo established eTrack Solutions Inc., a professional services company. He was president and CEO. After Manchester Technologies Inc. bought the firm in 2001, Mazzullo continued as president of the Manchester Software Division.
A Rochester native, Mazzullo serves on the board of directors of the Volunteers of America of Western New York Inc. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA in accounting/finance from the Simon Graduate School of Business.
Chairman and CEO, Eastman Kodak Co.
Perez joined Kodak as chairman and CEO in 2003.
Perez previously served as president and CEO of Gemplus International. Before that, he worked for Hewlett-Packard Co. for 25 years, where he was corporate vice president, president of HP's consumer business and president and CEO of HP's inkjet imaging business. He also was a member of HP's executive council.
Perez is a member of the board of directors of Schering-Plough Corp., serves as chairman of the CEO Leadership Initiative for the Diversity Best Practices Council and is a member of the Business Council. He is also a member of the Business Roundtable, where he is chairman of the consumer health and retirement initiative and a member of the executive committee. Perez is a member of the board of trustees of the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography and Film.
An American citizen born in Spain, Perez studied electronic engineering, marketing and business in Spain and France. In 2009, he received an honorary doctorate from the University of Rochester.
President and CEO, Home Properties Inc.
Pettinella became president and CEO of Home Properties in 2004. He joined the company in 2001 as an executive vice president and director. From 1997 until February 2001, Pettinella was president of Charter One Bank of New York and executive vice president of Charter One Financial Inc. From 1981 to 1997, Pettinella held managerial jobs for Rochester Community Savings Bank. Before that, he worked in the treasurer's office at Ford Motor Credit headquarters.
Pettinella is on the board of directors of the Rochester Business Alliance, United Way of Greater Rochester Inc., Lifetime Healthcare Cos., MedEquities, the National Multi Housing Council and the Syracuse University School of Business. He is on the board of governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts. He is also a member of the Urban Land Institute. Pettinella is a graduate of SUNY College at Geneseo and holds an MBA in finance from Syracuse University.
CEO, GateHouse Media Inc.
Reed became CEO of GateHouse Media in February 2006. He had been president and CEO of Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. since 1999. Reed served as Community Newspaper Holdings' chief financial officer from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, he worked for Park Communications Inc.
Reed is on the board of directors and chairman of the audit committee for the Associated Press. He also serves on the board of directors for the Newspaper Association of America.
Reed is a member of the board of advisers of the University of Alabama's College of Communication and Information Sciences and of the Grady College Journalism School.
President and CEO, Constellation Brands Inc.
Sands became president and CEO of Constellation Brands in 2007. He joined the company in 1986 as general counsel overseeing the company's legal affairs. He became executive vice president and general counsel in 1993 and was promoted to CEO of Constellation International after the company's acquisition of the United Kingdom's Matthew Clark PLC in 1998.
From 2000 through most of 2002, Sands was group president for Canandaigua Wine Co. and the U.K. division. In December 2002, he was appointed president and chief operating officer for the company's two divisions, Constellation Wines and Constellation Beers and Spirits.
Sands is chairman of the board of the New York Wine and Culinary Center, a member of the board of trustees of Rochester General Health System and Thompson Health, and a member of the board and executive committee of the Rochester Business Alliance. He has a bachelor's degree from Skidmore College and a law degree from Pace University. Prior to joining Constellation, he was a lawyer at a Rochester firm.

Slusser is a founder of Performance Technologies Inc. (now called PT) and has been president and CEO since October 2006. He has been a director of the company since its formation in 1981 and chairman of its board of directors since June 2001. From 1981 to 1995, Slusser held various operational management positions within PT, including president and CEO, and from January 2003 to May 2005 he was chief strategic officer. From 1995 until 2000, he was chairman of the board and CEO of InformationView Solutions Corp. Since 2000, he also has been president of Radio Daze LLC, a vintage electronics company. Prior to founding PT, Slusser held positions at Computer Consoles Inc., which subsequently became a division of Nortel Networks. Slusser holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology.

Till joined Harris Interactive in October 2008.
Previously, Till was the CEO of North America for Taylor Nelson Sofres Intersearch Corp., a market intelligence/research company. Till has been vice president of the worldwide media and entertainment group at Microsoft Corp., senior vice president and general manager of AOL International, senior vice president of strategic planning and marketing for Sony Corp. of America and head of marketing and operations for Disney Interactive Europe.
Till is a selected member of the Council on Foreign Relations and several other professional organizations. She received her MBA from Harvard Business School, her J.D. from Duke University Law School and her B.A. in history from the University of Alabama.
Interim president and CEO, NaturalNano Inc.
Wemett is an experienced entrepreneur and consultant who has been involved in the formation and growth of numerous private and public companies. From July 2007 until November 2008, Wemett was a member of NaturalNano's board of directors.
In 1975, Wemett started ROC Communications Inc., a retail distributor of electronics products, which was sold in 2001. Wemett has been a director of Technology Innovations LLC since its inception in 1999 and has served on the board of OncoVista LLC since June 2007. He has been an active fundraiser for Camp Good Days and Special Times Inc.
CEO, Document Security Systems Inc.
White, one of the founders of Document Security Systems, was named to his current position in August 2002. A Rochester native, he has held executive and financial positions at Citizens Bank (formerly Rochester Community Savings Bank) and has owned and operated several commercial print manufacturing and e-commerce companies.
Since 1990, he has worked in the research and development of various document security technologies. He began marketing security print products in 1994. A member of several boards of directors, White holds a B.S. in accounting and an MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology.
