The opening of the Eastman East Wing will mark the completion of the Eastman School of Music's expansion and theater renovation project. The 61,800-square-foot addition will be an integral part of the Rochester community, Eastman officials said. It is scheduled to open to the public during the school's New Eastman Evolution Festival Week, Dec. 6 to 12. The community celebration will include concerts, lectures and tours, many of them free.
