GMR Associates buys building in Gates

GMR Associates Inc. has purchased a 9,600-square-foot building in Gates, officials said Friday.

The building, on Buell Road, formerly housed R.L. Kistler Inc., which has moved to Elmgrove Crossing Business Park in Gates. The deal was brokered by Moore Corporate Real Estate Inc.

GMR Associates formerly was housed in leased space at Cornerstone Centre. The business provides employee benefit services and human resource support to business owners.

“The company has been experiencing significant growth and we needed additional office space,” said GMR Associates president Roger Gutheil in a statement. “To continue to service our new clients, we have needed to hire additional personnel but we didn’t have room for added employees”.

GMR Associates purchased the building for $412,500, the Moore Corporate Real Estate website states.

The company expects to be operating out of the new site starting Monday.
