Simon School receives $1 million for scholarships

Rochester Business Journal
October 30, 2012

The Simon School of Business at the University of Rochester has received $1 million for new merit-based scholarship support from the William E. Simon Foundation, school officials announced Tuesday.

Scholarship support begins immediately and will extend over the next three academic years, Simon officials said.

This marks the latest gift from the Simon Foundation, which over the last 25 years has combined with the family and friends of the late U.S. Treasury Secretary William Simon to donate an estimated $37 million to the Simon School.
