Former GM fuel-cell facility for sale for $10 million

The former General Motors Co.’s Fuel Cell Research Facility in Honeoye Falls is for sale or lease by CB Richard Ellis, the company announced Monday.

The 19-acre campus features 161,000 square foot of spaces, which includes research and development space in two buildings, with office, lab and clean room space, as well as production and high bay areas.

The site is for sale for $10 million or $6 a square-foot triple net, the CB Richard Ellis website states.

In October, GM announced it would move its hydrogen fuel-cell research operation from Honeoye Falls to Pontiac, Mich. The site employed roughly 220 workers.
