UVANY to hold forum on seed capital

An Upstate Venture Association of New York Inc. forum on seed capital in Rochester is scheduled for March 18 at Rochester Institute of Technology’s Center for Student Innovation.

The program begins at 5:30 p.m. with a networking session, with a one-hour presentation beginning at 6 p.m. Additional networking follows at 7 p.m.

Representatives from the RIT Venture Fund, Excell Partners Inc., the Simon School Venture Capital Fund and the Rochester Angel Network are scheduled to participate.

Robert Kot and Richard Notargiacomo are to introduce the Rochester Regional Business Plan Guide.

Kot is managing director of new ventures for High Tech Rochester Inc. Notargiacomo is director of new ventures and commercialization at RIT’s Venture Creations Incubator and an adjunct professor at the E. Philip Saunders College of Business at RIT.
