CMAC gets mobile application

Concertgoers looking for a mobile way to stay up to date on this summer’s concert season now have an app for that.

Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center has launched a mobile application available for free via the iTunes App Store and Google Play that will give users access to concert schedules, ticket information and traffic updates.

The app will have up-to-the minute information on the day of each show to update concert goers on parking lot closures and alternative driving routes, among other things.

“We are looking forward to having the ability to communicate real-time traffic information to our users,” said Steve Williams, general manager of CMAC, in a statement. “Through our partnerships with the county, college, and sheriff’s department we will provide important information through the app to continuously improve traffic flow to and from the venue.”

CMAC’s summer concert season kicks off May 30 with country music star Luke Bryan. Other big-name performers set to hit the venue include Kenny Chesney, LL Cool J, Keith Urban and Def Leppard.
