Firm to move HQ to Culver Road Armory

Information technology consulting services company consilium1 LLC announced Wednesday it would join the Culver Road Armory’s tenant mix. They plan to open their relocated headquarters in spring.

The company provides IT solutions with a cloud computing focus for the federal government, and the health care, finance, education and manufacturing industries.

“It’s been quite a ride growing a global business over the past 15 years,” said Tom Thomson, president and CEO of consilium1, in a statement. “With the extension of our business into new offerings, especially our secure, certified cloud computing offering, we felt it was time to build a new world-class facility.  When an opportunity came our way to be a part of the new construction in the second phase of the Armory, it was the right move for our business.

The location will support senior management, shared services operations, regional cloud services sales and engineering personnel.

With the move from its current Linden Oaks headquarters, the company expects to double its employee count in the next 12 months. It currently has 45 employees locally, and roughly 500 nationally.

“Our team prides itself on being on the cutting edge of technology,” Thomson said. “Whether it’s for our customers or our own team, we’re proactive about developing and delivering solutions that give us a competitive edge.”
