Orafol Precision Technology Center Inc. will receive a state grant of up to $200,000 to help fund a $12 million project at the company’s Henrietta facility, officials said.

The funding, announced by Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Friday, is from the Empire State Economic Development Fund. The project includes construction of a 48,000-square-foot addition to the facility that will be used as a tooling center for the firm’s North American operations.

Orafol is a producer of specialty tools used to manufacture microstructured optical films and plastic lenses. As a result of the project, Orafol will keep 60 jobs and recently added nine new positions.

Orafol came to the Rochester area in 2011 after merging with Reflexite Corp.
