Bills to use variable pricing for home games

The Buffalo Bills will base ticket prices for home games this season on the attractiveness of their opponent, with season tickets from $260 to $3,100, the National Football League team announced Thursday.

The team announced season ticket prices and a variable pricing model for individual games a day after announcing the suspension of the annual home game in Toronto.

The Bills will play all eight of their home games at Ralph Wilson Stadium this season for the first time since 2007. They also will play two preseason games at home.

The tiered ticket model includes preseason and regular season games, team officials said.

“The goal of variable pricing is to create a pricing structure that best reflects the market demand for all games,” Bills president and CEO Russell Brandon said in a statement.

The cost for single-game tickets and the tiers will be set after the schedule is released this spring.

Season tickets start at $260 for areas in the upper levels. The most expensive season tickets are $3,100 for the business class club indoor seats.

Season tickets will be 15 percent to 50 percent cheaper than buying tickets to the 10 games individually, team officials said. Season tickets will list different prices for the home games based on the variable tiers.
