SWBR Architects & Engineers P.C.  has been selected to receive a National Association of Industrial and Office Parks award.

The NAIOP Upstate New York Chapter recognizes projects that showcase creativity, innovation and sustainability in the commercial real estate industry, officials said. SWBR Architects was recognized for its work on the renovation of the former Xerox Corp. facility in Henrietta that became the new manufacturing facility for Harris Corp.’s RF Communications division.

SWBR served as lead architect on the 573,000-square-foot renovation that allowed RF Communications to consolidate its three manufacturing units into one building.

SWBR has more than 70 employees at offices in Rochester and Syracuse. The company ranked first on Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list of architectural firms.
