Penfield-based Taylor, the Builders has broken ground on a construction and renovation project for Heartland Sheets LLC, a manufacturer in Kansas City, Mo.

Taylor has partnered with longtime collaborator Schwarz Partners Inc. out of Indiana and Greece-based NH Architecture P.C. The project involves the renovation of a 130,000 square-foot manufacturing facility.

Construction is expected to be completed by June, Taylor said.

“We are proud to maintain our relationship with Schwarz Partners, and are excited to once again collaborate on another project with them,” said Taylor president Karl Schuler in a statement. “Taylor continues to demonstrate its expertise in industrial construction, as well as its national reach.”

Taylor specializes in commercial, industrial, health care and multifamily construction projects throughout the Southern Tier, New England, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina. The company is a DBA of R-J Taylor General Contractors Inc.
