Seneca Falls Savings becomes Generations Bank

Rochester Business Journal
April 24, 2012

Seneca Falls Savings Bank, with Ontario County branches in Geneva and Phelps, has been renamed Generations Bank, officials announced Tuesday.

Ownership, management and organizational structure will not change, officials from the Seneca County-based bank said.

“We’re excited about this new chapter in our bank’s long and successful history,” President and CEO Menzo Case said in a statement. “Our new brand better reflects the company we’ve always been, and the company we intend to be in the future.”

The nine retail branch names will include the municipality in which they are located, officials said. The Ontario County branches will be Generation Bank of Geneva and Generation Bank of Phelps.

The bank also has branches in Seneca Falls and Waterloo in Seneca County and Auburn and Union Springs in Cayuga County.

Generations Bank ranks 17th in the Rochester market with local deposits of $53 million.
