Gartner names Veramark to global list

Veramark Technologies Inc. has been recognized as a world leader in the telecom industry.

The Pittsford-based telecom expense management company has been included by Gartner Inc. in the 2012 Magic Quadrant for Telecom Expense Management.

Gartner is an information technology research and advisory firm based out of Stamford, Conn. Its Magic Quadrant list recognizes companies displaying high-level strategic vision and execution in the telecom expense management industry.

Veramark was one of 23 companies selected worldwide and one of six in the United States.

“Veramark's credibility in the market is growing,” said Anthony Mazzullo, president and CEO of Veramark, in a statement. “We have seen a remarkable 25 percent increase in new business during 2011 over the prior year. Recognition by Gartner is further evidence that we are doing the right things for our customers.”
