Cellular Sales has opened a new store at Marketplace Mall in Henrietta. The store plans to hire seven new employees in the coming weeks, officials said.

Based in Knoxville, Tenn., Cellular Sales is a largest retailer of premium Verizon Wireless Inc. products in the nation, company officials said. Cellular Sales operates more than 500 locations with nearly 5,000 employees.

The store’s Upstate New York locations include those in the city of Rochester, Irondequoit, Brockport and Greece.

“Cellular Sales coaches and trains its wireless consultants to take time with customers, and to go over the advanced features and services available today,” said Luke Fletcher, regional director for Cellular Sales, in a statement. “That’s the key to our growth, and we look forward to sharing that strategy with all the new folks we’ll meet in Henrietta.”
