2037: Business community views future with optimism, resolve

Rochester Business Journal
October 12, 2012

The past 25 years surely have tested the Rochester-area economy. But the business community remains optimistic about the next quarter century.

The Rochester Business Journal, as part of its coverage for its 25th anniversary, looked at what the next 25 years will bring.

The RBJ recently asked readers to share their views on the area’s long-term economic outlook and to name the biggest challenge this region is likely to face from now until 2037. They also were asked: What will downtown Rochester look like 25 years from now? And what will Rochester be known for 25 years from now?

Results of the economic outlook poll: nearly three-quarters of some 500 respondents are optimistic about the future.
