A Chili precision manufacturer and metal fabricator plans to add space in Henrietta.

The County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency approved tax breaks Tuesday to allow Semans Enterprise/New-Cov Fabrications Inc. to lease 10,000 square feet at 25 Hendrix Rd. for additional manufacturing and to accommodate growth.

Erie Station 25 LLC was granted sales-tax exemptions on the company’s investment of $55,000 in equipment and furnishings, officials said.

The $1.5 million project will bring seven new jobs to the company’s existing workforce of eight, officials said.

The work will be done on a 38,000-square-foot building on four acres.

COMIDA approved property tax breaks for Hammer Packaging Corp.’s expansion of its Henrietta facility, which will result in 22 new jobs over three years, company officials said. Hammer employs 60.

The $715,000 project will add 12,200 square feet to the commercial printer’s 92,200-square-foot structure.
