December 14, 2012

Clark Patterson Lee has acquired Habiterra Architecture and Landscape Architecture P.C., a Jamestown, Chautauqua County-based design firm, the Rochester company said Friday.

Financial details were not disclosed. The addition will boost employment at Clark Patterson Lee to 220, from 200 staffers.

Habiterra will become part of Clark Patterson Lee on Jan. 1. The firm is known for its K-12 and higher education design portfolio, and will complement Clark Patterson Lee’s existing client base, company leaders said.

“Habiterra’s leadership and staff share our commitment to quality and value-driven service,” said Phillip Clark, Clark Patterson Lee’s CEO, in a statement.

The design professionals from Habiterra will be integrated into Clark Patterson Lee while maintaining their Jamestown address.

Clark Patterson Lee ranked third on the most recent Rochester Business Journal list of architectural firms.
