A breakdown of funding amounts for 76 projects in the nine-county Finger Lakes region has been posted online.
The Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council was the big winner Wednesday in the second round of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s regional council initiative, with an award of $96.2 million.
The Finger Lakes council and two others were cited for having the best plans in a judging of 10 councils statewide.
The Finger Lakes was awarded $68.8 million in last year’s first round. Of the 93 projects funded in 2011, 94 percent have executed contracts with New York funding agencies and are under way, state officials said Thursday.
