Bristol Mountain ski resort officially launched its 49th season Monday morning.

At 9 a.m., four skiers had Comet Express “first chair” honors on opening day. 

“This is a wonderful tradition,” Marketing Director Drew Broderick said. “I look forward each year to see who makes it here in time to be on the first chairlift up the mountain.”

Snowmaking will continue until all 34 trails, two terrain parks and two Nordic loops are open.
