Bills-Jets game Sunday blacked out on TV

The Buffalo Bills said Thursday that Sunday’s game against the New York Jets at Ralph Wilson Stadium has not sold out and will be blacked out on local television stations.

More than 13,000 tickets remain unsold for the team’s last home game of the season, which is at 1 p.m. It will be broadcast live on WCMF-FM 96.5.

The Bills are 5-10 and out of contention for the playoffs.

The team also said Thursday that shovelers are needed to help clear snow from the stadium. Through tomorrow, fans can come to gates 7 and 8 at the stadium to help shovel. The job pays $10 an hour. Workers must be 17 or older, present photo identification and dress appropriately for winter weather conditions.

Meanwhile this week, the Bills for the third straight season were shut out of the NFL’s Pro Bowl, which will be played Jan. 27 in Hawaii. Pro Bowl players were announced Wednesday.
