A self-serve yogurt bar officially was christened Friday in the Park Avenue neighborhood.
The Yolishous Self-Serve Frozen Yogurt Bar marked its grand opening, with city officials joining owners Sylvia and Roy Williams.
Yolishous offers 18 flavors and 30 toppings such as seasonal fruits, cereal, candy, nuts, and full-calorie and sugar-free syrups, officials said. It also offers a dairy-free sorbet.
The Williams’ daughters, Talia and Veronica, help manage the business.
“Yolishous is an exemplary family-owned enterprise,” said Carlos Carballada, commissioner of city neighborhood and business development. “They also represent the best of what it means to give back to the community in which you do business.”
Yolishous employs 12 at its 647 Park Ave. location. It is open seven days a week.
