Henrietta firm hires advisory firm to help grow business

Lucid Inc., which does business as Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics, has entered into a strategic advisory agreement with H.C. Wainwright & Co. LLC to help Caliber I.D. develop its business.

As part of the agreement, H.C. Wainwright will serve as an adviser to Henrietta-based Caliber I.D. by helping to identify, originate and develop potential strategic partnerships, assisting with mergers and acquisition transactions, and helping to raise capital, the companies said.

The agreement additionally includes, but is not limited to, new product procurement, generating additional distribution channels and assessing collaborations to promote Caliber I.D.’s business.

Founded in 1991, Caliber I.D. develops electro-optical products and instruments for medical applications. The company is perhaps known best for specializing in non-invasive skin cancer imaging through its advanced VivaScope technology. It has roughly 30 employees.
