Clearlake Capital Group L.P. this morning announced the formation of Calero Software LLC, which will have its headquarters in Henrietta and employ more than 200 workers here.

Calero was formed through the merger of Veramark Technologies Inc.; Pinnacle, a Windstream Corp. company; and Atlanta-based Movero Inc.

The combined firm provides communications lifecycle management. It combines the business operations of Veramark Technologies and Pinnacle, which are focused on telecommunications expense management software, with Movero, a mobility management services expert, officials said.

“With strong financial backing and operational expertise from Clearlake, we are committed to building Calero via organic growth and acquisition, ultimately providing more dynamic and expanded services to current and future customers,” said Kevin Wood, executive chairman of Calero and operating adviser at Clearlake Capital Group, a private investment firm based in Santa Monica, Calif.

Calero is wholly owned by Clearlake.

The management team of Calero is comprised of senior team members from Movero, Pinnacle and Veramark.

Veramark was acquired in July and the deals for Pinnacle and Movero closed as of the announcement.

Calero has additional offices in Georgia, Ohio and Tennessee, and the Company is wholly owned by Clearlake Capital Group.
