Eastman Kodak Co.’s CEO continues to build his top management team, adding another member to the company’s executive council.

Mark Green has joined Kodak (NYSE: KODK) as senior vice president and chief human resources officer, effective immediately, Kodak said Tuesday. He reports to Kodak CEO Jeffrey Clarke.

Green, 46, is responsible for Kodak’s human resources strategy and all functions within Kodak’s global human resources organization, including employee relations, compensation, benefits, and talent management and engagement.

The U.K. native joins Kodak after four years with Applied Materials Inc., an $8.5 billion Silicon Valley‐based provider of equipment, services and software for technology industries. He previously was at UTStarcom, a provider of IP networking and telecom services, Nortel Networks and Verisign.

“As a senior human resources executive with several leading technology companies, Mark has a track record in effectively building and motivating employee teams to deliver growth and achieve success,” Clarke said.

Green succeeds James Brault who has decided to leave the company to pursue other opportunities.

“Jim took on the lead HR role during a critical time for Kodak, and helped our workforce maneuver through the company’s reorganization,” Clarke said.

Kodak on May 22 said John McMullen would join the company as chief financial officer and executive vice president effective June 15. In late April, the company hired Eric‐Yves Mahe (right) as senior vice president and to fill the newly created post of director of sales strategy and operations. He also joined the company’s executive council

Clarke was hired as CEO in March.
