US Airways Inc. will add two non-stop flights daily to Charlotte, N.C., from Greater Rochester International Airport beginning next Thursday, and two to Philadelphia as of July 12, officials announced Friday.

The Charlotte routes are the first nonstop from Rochester. The two additions to Philadelphia increase the number nonstop flights there to seven.

US Airways accounted for 19 percent of the passenger share in 2011, third highest at the Rochester airport, Monroe County officials said.

Last month, Delta Airlines Inc. launched four nonstop daily flights to New York’s LaGuardia Airport. Nearly 20 percent of Rochester airport departures are to New York City, county officials say.
