ITX names new president

Rochester Business Journal

ITX Corp. has named a new president.

Fred Beer will succeed Ralph Dandrea, who has served as president and CEO of the company for 15 years. Dandrea will retain the title of CEO and assume the position of chairman.

Based in Pittsford with roughly 150 employees, ITX ranked 15th on the Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list of web design firms. ITX served 1,050 clients in 2011 and grew by 17 percent.

Beer joined ITX in 2009 as a partner on the company’s executive team. During his tenure, Beer led the product launch of MobilityCMS, a mobile application content management system that has serviced organizations such as Harvard Business Review and Paychex Inc.

Prior to joining ITX, Beer co-founded Auragen Communications Inc., a direct marketing agency purchased by Catalyst Direct Inc. He also co-founded Potential Point LLC, which was purchased by Brand Integrity Inc.

“I believe ITX’s most inspiring days are ahead,”said Beer, in a statement. “And I look forward to watching and contributing to its success in a new role.”
