Five finalists have been selected for the 2012 Rochester Business Ethics Award, the Rochester Area Business Ethics Foundation said today.

The finalists are:

•    Casco Security Systems Inc., a Rochester firm that provides custom integrated security products and services and 24-hour monitoring for homes and businesses in Upstate New York;
•    Klein Steel Service Inc., a metal service center in Rochester providing metal processing and distribution;
•    Martino Flynn LLC, an advertising, public relations and digital media agency in Perinton;
•    QCI Direct, based in Chili, a catalog company with the titles Home Trends, Picket Fence and Sleep Solutions, featuring products for the home and its outdoor surroundings and personal care; and
•    Signs Now of Rochester Inc., a Henrietta firm that produces custom-made cut vinyl graphics, large-format printing, vehicle wraps and lighted and dimensional signs.

Companies selected to receive RBEA awards are to be announced at a Sept. 18 luncheon at the Rochester Riverside Convention Center. Subsequently, the award recipients from competitions in Rochester and across the nation can enter a national competition, the American Business Ethics Awards.

The finalists are chosen by an independent panel of judges.

Organizational sponsors for the foundation’s local awards program are the Rochester Chapter of the Society of Financial Service Professionals, the Rochester Business Alliance Inc. and St. John Fisher College. The Rochester awards were initiated in 2003.
