FSI Systems awarded multimillion contract

FSI Systems Inc. has been awarded a contract to design, prototype and manufacture a medical device for an unnamed customer.

The contract is valued at $2 million to $3 million, with deliveries starting in 2013, with possible extensions through 2015.

“FSI continues to improve processes to be able to provide an extremely high level of quality while keeping the design cycle affordable for the client, especially in these challenging economic times” said President John Malvaso, in a statement.

Farmington, Ontario County-based FSI designs electronic solutions comprised of hardware, firmware, software and electronic assembly manufacturing. The business employs 25 workers and serves customers in the military, consumer and medical markets.
