Partners + Napier Inc. on Monday said marketing veteran Andrea Spiegel has been appointed managing director of the firm’s New York City office.

Partners + Napier, a Rochester-based marketing communications and branding firm, opened its New York City office this year and currently has six employees working there. Spiegel will be responsible for continuing to develop the firm’s presence in New York City.

Spiegel has 20 years of experience in the marketing industry. Before joining Partners + Napier, Spiegel served as executive vice president in account management for Leo Burnett Advertising in Chicago, where she led brand development strategies for clients such as Allstate Corp., Travelocity and the Samsung Group.

“Andrea is a gifted thinker and collaborator whose demonstrated leadership in senior agency and client-side roles will add invaluable support and energy to our vision for the future,” said Sharon Napier, CEO of Partners + Napier, in a statement. “We felt a cultural fit immediately, and we are all excited to have her at the helm of our growing New York office.”

Partners + Napier ranked second on the Rochester Business Journal’s most recent list of marketing communications firms.
