Honoring a couple whose donations helped Rochester General Health System establish its new Linden Oaks Medical Campus, the system has dubbed a building at the new east-side ambulatory center as the Jack A. and Norma Erdle Medical Building.

RGHS kicked off the Penfield campus in June with the purchase of three buildings at Linden Oaks. It plans also to develop an ambulatory surgery center, relocating a same-day surgery practice it purchased earlier and ambulatory surgery facilities from Rochester General Hospital to a new, 29,000-square-foot addition.

The Erdles have contributed several million dollars to RGHS over the past several years .

Jack Erdle founded Erdle Corp.
