The 2012 summer concert season was a record breaker at the Constellation Brands-Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center. The outdoor amphitheater in Canandaigua drew more than 132,000 patrons, which included 24 shows, CMAC officials announced Tuesday.

“We had three sellouts this season, proving that the brightest stars shine at CMAC," said Ginny Clark, president and executive director of Friends of CMAC, a non-profit organization formed to run CMAC’s financial operations.

Shows that drew big crowds this summer included Lady Antebellum, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds, Mumford & Sons and Train.

Attendance was 82,000 in 2011 and 100,000 in 2010, the previous record.

CMAC officials expect the first 2013 show announcements will take place early next year. Season tickets will be available beginning Oct. 1.
