Meeting to look at conversion of downtown streets

Rochester Business Journal
October 2, 2012

An information meeting is scheduled for Thursday to discuss final recommendations for converting two of Rochester’s downtown thoroughfares to two-way streets.

The meeting is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Central Library of Rochester and Monroe County’s Kate Gleason Auditorium at 115 South Ave.

The city is studying the conversion of North Clinton and South Clinton avenues, and St. Paul Street and South Avenue, from one-way to two-way.

Preliminary findings were presented in May, with revisions made based on public feedback.

Copies of the final report are available at the Central Library, at City Hall and at www.cityofrochester.gov/twowayconversion.
