Eastview restaurant celebrates grilled cheese

Rochester Business Journal
October 10, 2012

A new restaurant focused on grilled cheese has opened its first location at Eastview Mall.

The company, Cheese Masters Inc., was founded by Rochester-resident Steven O’Brien last August. Cheese Masters specializes in create-your-own grilled cheese and melt sandwiches. The restaurant, which is in a free-standing kiosk in the mall, also serves a number of gourmet sandwiches, soups and macaroni and cheese dishes.

O’Brien said he has spent the past year looking at various locations in New York State and Pennsylvania, but chose to open the first Cheese Masters in Eastview Mall. He said Rochester will serve as the test market for future locations.
