Bakery to close Brighton location as lease ends

Sugar Mountain Bake Shoppe will officially close its Brighton location on Nov. 30. The bake shop announced the closing on its website and Facebook page in mid-November.

Sugar Mountain, which also has a location on Alexander Street near Park Avenue., opened its Brighton location at 1697 Monroe Ave. in October 2011.

The shop opened its Alexander Street location 2009. The company said on Facebook that it was closing the Brighton location as the lease was up. The post and Sugar Mountain’s website also noted a change in hours on Alexander Street, with the shop being closed Sundays and Mondays.
