Monroe County and three airlines operating out of Greater Rochester International Airport have signed a new use and lease agreement for three years, officials announced Wednesday.

Delta Airlines Inc., United Airlines Inc. and Southwest Airlines Co. have agreed to the new contract. US Airways Group Inc., American Eagle Airlines Inc. and JetBlue Airways Corp. are expected to sign soon, officials said.

The contract also includes an option to renew for two additional two-year periods.

The agreement calls for the airlines to pay rates and charges for their operations at the airport, including leased space in the terminal, landing fees, apron fees, charges for terminal equipment, and aircraft parking, Director of Aviation Michael Giardino said in a statement.

The airport and its six airlines and affiliates serve 2.4 million passengers each year, officials said.
