Tops Markets LLC has entered into an agreement making Tops Friendly Markets a sponsor for Darien Lake and the Darien Lake Performing Arts Center, beginning this year and running through 2015.

The deal makes Tops Friendly Markets the exclusive retail partner for Darien Lake. The grocery chain will offer season passes to the theme park for $64.99 and daily admission tickets for $34.99. Regular daily admission is $44.99. Tickets will be available in late March at store cash registers, Tops officials said.

“Our partnership with Tops is a great way to kick off what will be an amazing season at Darien Lake this year,” said Bob Montgomery, Darien Lake’s general manager. “We’re excited to offer our visitors the option of purchasing tickets at a great value before they arrive, and look forward to a long-standing relationship with an organization that’s as dedicated to Western New York as we are.”

Tops also will become the sponsor for Live Nation’s Darien Lake Performing Arts Center concert series. As part of the sponsorship, Tops BonusPlus members will have presale access to concerts at the venue, as well as access to special seat locations before they go on sale to the general public.

Live Nation has already announced a few shows at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center set for 2013, including Dave Matthews Band, Tim McGraw and the annual Vans Warped Tour.
