Interim Tinch named permanent CFO of RGH

Rochester General Health System has made Paula Tinch’s interim position as the system’s chief financial officer permanent, RGHS officials said Tuesday.

A CPA who had previously served as RGHS’ vice president of finance and controller, Tinch was named interim CFO some 11 months ago after RGHS promoted former CFO Robert Nesselbush to the presidency of Rochester General Hospital.

As interim CFO, Tinch distinguished herself, overseeing a credit re-evaluation and public financing process that helped RGHS earn an A- Standard & Poor’s rating, said RGHS president and CEO Mark Clement.
