Medical records retrieval and delivery service eHealth Technologies Inc. plans to add 60 jobs over three years, following $4 million in new construction in Henrietta.
The County of Monroe Industrial Development Agency on Tuesday approved tax exemptions of $369,359 for Erie Station 250 LLC on the construction of a 36,000-square-foot facility on nearly 10 acres at 250 Thruway Park Drive.
Erie Station 250, which will lease to eHealth, requested property tax breaks on the project. It also requested sales tax exemptions for infrastructure purchases of $495,000.
The benefit to the community is projected to be $4.1 million, COMIDA representatives said.
EHealth Technologies employs 95 at offices on Allens Creek Road in Brighton.
COMIDA approved property tax abatements of $178,337 for Gallina Cambridge LLC, which is spending $4 million to build out 34,000 square feet of commercial space at 1892 Winton Road South in Brighton. The projected benefit is $326,138.
Some 3,746 square feet will be leased to real estate brokerage Moore & Associates Inc., which employs four and expects to add one worker over three years.
Property tax breaks totaling $82,057 were approved for Elmgrove Ventures LLC plans to spend $2.5 million to buy and renovate a 49,700-square-foot building at 435 West Commercial St. in East Rochester, and lease it to Total Sports Experience for youth sports programs, soccer and lacrosse leagues, and other events.
The community benefit is set at $185,626, with five jobs to be created in three years.
The facility will include a boarded turf field, turf training areas and community rooms, officials said. It will house personal training provider Power Train Sports.
ICardiac Technologies Inc. will get tax breaks of $24,000 on a $300,000 upgrade of information technology equipment. The community benefit is $235,842, COMIDA officials said.
The Allens Creek Road provider of laboratory services for cardiac safety studies for drug development companies plans to add four jobs to its current workforce of 40.
Structural Remediation Services Inc. was granted tax breaks of $12,800 for a $160,000 purchase of construction equipment. The community benefit is $38,804.
The East Main Street company employs 10 and expects to add one job.
Prince ROC LLC was approved for property tax breaks of $61,931 for a $600,000 renovation of a vacant carriage house at 19 Prince St. in the city. The community benefit is $235,602.
The carriage house will be leased to Cognitive Marketing Inc., a communications firm serving colleges, universities and independent schools. The company employs five and plans to add two jobs.
Prince ROC received COMIDA assistance in 2009 on the renovation of a 17,000-square-foot building on the property that is leased to related entity Brown and Tarantino LLC.
D4 LLC, an Andrews Street discovery management, computer forensics and litigation support firm, was approved for sales tax breaks of $4,926 for $155,500 in renovations at 222 and 214 Andrews St.. The community benefit is $122,158.
D4, which employs 61, will spend $30,500 on renovations at 222 Andrews St., and $125,000 at 214 Andrews St., where it will lease an additional 5,000 square feet and add two jobs.
