Manning Squires Hennig Co. announced Wednesday it had been awarded two construction contracts with the Buffalo Bills.
The Batavia-based construction firm will help develop a 12,500-square-foot operations building and a 33,000-square-foot commissary building that will be located outside of Ralph Wilson Stadium in Orchard Park, Erie County. Financial details were not disclosed.
Manning Squires Hennig will serve as the general trades contractor for the projects, meaning the company will be responsible for the execution of trade work and oversight of trade subcontractors throughout the entire course of the two projects.
Buffalo-based LPCiminelli Inc. will serve as the construction manager for both building initiatives which are expected to be completed by the end of January.
“We are extremely proud to be working with the Buffalo Bills on these two important building projects,” said Gary Squires, president of Manning Squires Hennig, in a statement. “The Bills have been an integral part of the Western New York community since 1960 and — having also been founded around the same time (in 1958) — (Manning Squires Hennig) is pleased to help the team enhance and expand their facilities to better serve their fans.”
