EarthLink CEO Huff retires; new leader named

EarthLink Inc. president and CEO Rolla Huff is retiring, officials announced Monday.

His successor, Joseph Eazor, 51, begins in the role Jan.13. Huff will continue to serve as board chairman for a transition period.

Eazor brings more than two decades of consulting and information technology experience to his new role. He previously worked for EMC Corp. as executive vice president and chief operating officer of global sales.

Huff has been CEO of EarthLink for six years, and board chairman for five.
