March 4 forum to focus on venture capital, private equity

The Upstate Venture Association of New York Inc. will discuss venture capital and private equity Tuesday in Rochester.

The forum, titled “What Every Entrepreneur Needs to Know About Venture Capital and Private Equity Investors,” begins at 5 p.m. March 4 at ArtisanWorks on Blossom Road.

Panelists are Mikael Totterman, CEO of iCardiac Technologies Inc.; David Chauncey, president of Vnomics Corp.; Timothy Wilson, CEO at Arnold Magnetic Technologies Corp.; and Christian Modesti, chief financial officer and chief operating officer at Biomaxx Inc.

William Hoy IV, a partner at Harter Secrest & Emery LLP, will moderate the discussion. Richard Glaser, a senior financial adviser at Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc., will offer introductory remarks on “The New Rochester.”
