Caliber I.D. names new CFO

Caliber Imaging & Diagnostics Inc., formerly known as Lucid Inc., has named Richard Christopher chief financial officer.

Richard Pulsifer resigned from the post Tuesday, the same day the Henrietta firm’s board of directors appointed Christopher, a filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission states.

Christopher served eight years as chief financial officer of DUSA Pharmaceuticals Inc., a specialty dermatology company, until its sale to Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd. in 2012.

CEO Michael Hone thanked Pulsifer for his time with the company. He also said Christopher’s financial background makes him suited for the job.

“Having been involved with a startup company through its growth stages and eventual sale, he has specific expertise ranging from capital markets to strategic planning, that we, as an emerging company, will benefit from,” Hone said in a statement.

Under a company agreement, Christopher will serve a three-year term, which will renew automatically for an additional one-year period unless either party intends not to renew, the SEC filing states.

Founded in 1991, Caliber I.D. develops electro-optical products and instruments for medical applications.
